License

Status: Licensed to you@example.com or Not licensed: reading only. Enter License… / Show License… opens the License window. “A license is checked on this Mac and never sent anywhere. Without one, Syncretic opens graphs read-only.” See The license.

Vector search

The model (EmbeddingGemma 2), its details, and its state: Download 310 MB, a progress bar with cancel, Ready on this Mac with Remove, or a failure with Retry. “Text properties set to Embed in Shape are turned into vectors by EmbeddingGemma 2 running on this Mac through llama.cpp, so Ask can find passages with vector search. The weights are a one-time 310 MB download from Hugging Face (Apache 2.0); nothing you write is ever sent anywhere.”

Graph

Connections per click: 10, 25, 50 or 100. “The canvas shows only what you’ve explored. Clicking a node brings this many of its connections onto it; the node’s badge brings the next lot.”
