Projects, export and import
Managing projects
In the sidebar or the gallery, right-click a project: Rename…, Export…, Delete…. The command palette (⌘K) lists every project to switch to, New Project, Import Project…, Export Project… and All Projects.
Deleting removes the project’s folder: shape, graph, notes, history and conversations. It asks first and can’t be undone.
Export
File › Export Project… (⇧⌘E) writes <name>.syncretic.json: the shape, every node and relationship with their properties, and the layout, as plain JSON, independent of the database’s own format. Vectors aren’t exported; they’re rebuilt on import. Notes and conversations stay in the project folder.
Import
File › Import Project…, or Import… in the gallery, reads an export into a new project and opens it. Embedded properties are re-embedded in the background.
Links the app opens
syncretic://import?url=<export>fetches an export from the web (the Open in Syncretic button on a published graph’s page) and imports it: a toast says Bringing in getsyncretic.com…syncretic://activate?key=<license>activates a license and opens the License window (from the purchase page).
Where projects live
Settings › Storage shows the graph engine’s version (LadybugDB) and Show in Finder for the Projects folder. See How it works for what’s inside.
